New Lens Has Arrived!

Well, I've had it for a couple of days, anyway. I'm SO super dooper excited! I've only been able to take it for a test run twice, but I plan on doing A LOT of shooting with it to get the hang of it.

Here's just a few pictures I've gotton with it. There's still a bit of practicing to be had, like anything new.

Here's Addybear eating an icecream cone. It was the only way I could get her to sit still and "model" for mommy.

She is a drama queen. Always performing, acting, singing. Even through her "mad face", I see a smile.

While I'm Here in Mississippi

I'm home again and for the first time since I've been into photography. It's been a couple of  years. I dont think I noticed the Southern "Charm" until now. I suppose a camera opens your eyes to things that you might not have seen 20 years ago.

I think I'm going to start a photo project while I'm here in Mississippi. I think I'll call it that too, now that I think about it...I like the sound of it.
