Wide angle Lens Adapter Photo Examples
I'm LOVING this thing! Finally, I can get some really close up photos. It doesnt do what a wide angle would do, exactly, but it's, definately, something I will enjoy using with portraits and art, in general. Here are a few examples of photos I took this afternoon at the park.
You can see specks of sand on the clovers! That's how close I was able to get. Those clovers are really, very tiny!
This last one, I took using the wide angle part of the adapter. With the rest, I had taken that part off, leaving just the macro lens adapter part. You use them together to get the wide angle effect.MCP Photoshop Actions Giveaway
Currently, MCP Actions is having a give away. The prize is the new Tamron 18-270mm Di II VC PZD lens. You can check it out here MCP Contest.
Notice the fish eye effect. I dont like that. I read, though, that if you use the adapter on a lens that is already, somewhat, wide, it'll do that. It goes away as I zoom in.
I just recieved my wide angle lens adapter in the mail, yesterday. It was already dark out when it arrived so I wasn't able to go out and shoot with it. But, I did play with it alittle inside. Napoleon was happy to be my practice model.

It also turns into a macro adapter. I plan on playing with it a bit more today to what all it can do. Will post pics!

A Warm February Day
Finally! Got some warm weather today. I am not a cold weather person. For that matter, I don't understand anyone who says they are. I know a few people who love the cold. I think they (you know who you are) are out of their minds! Addy has been dying to take her scooter, she got for her bday, outside and ride it, but it's been so cold out...I figured we'd wait. Ahh, today was such a nice change. It's so funny to me how much Adalie loves having her pictures taken. She really does help me out a lot. If I ever want to practice a new technique or lens she's always willing to strike a pose!
We had a lot of fun today. Addy's such a sweet kid. Tonight, she was watching The Velveteen Rabbit. And just like the two times before, she cried her eyes out at the end. She does this at every movie that has a sad ending or even slightly sad moment before the happy ending.
If you are interested in seeing more photos from today's outting, I just uploaded a few to my new Flikr account. My Flickr Account Not sure why I never had one before!

Happy Birthday AddyBear!!
Feb. 9th, 2007 Adalie Elizebeth was born 8lbs 14oz.
Smiled at 2 days old and you've been smiling ever since.
Latest quote, "I'm playing with my shadow, and my shadow is bored."
She wanted a birthday party this year. But since we just moved to North Carolina from California, she has no friends to invite.
Instead, we went out and bought over 100 balloons and had our own little party. Mom, Dad, Napoleon, and all her animals...
Her choosen birthday lunch...salad. Gifts included princess dress with shoes and scooter.
