Week 3 Project 52
I have been really busy with friends this week, I almost forgot about my 52 Project! I've taken quite a but of photos this week and wasn't sure which to use. I had a lot of favorites!
Yesterday, I was fortunate to spend some time with a really good friend of mine from San Diego. Luckly, she has family here in North Carolina and she visits often! Man, did we miss hanging out with her and the kids! It felt like old times. Thankfully, she let me hound them with my camera the whole time.
Here are a few I chose for this weekends photos...

Future Artist
I'm so proud of Adalie being as artistic as she is, I decided to buy a spiral drawing book for her every month to record her imagination through the year. Some of the things she comes up with makes me laugh and some leave me in awe! So, I decided to share them with whoever reads my blog...
A new favorite show of hers is The Cat in the Hat. I was pretty impressed with how she drew him! One other photo, I asked her about, is a plane full of people. I asked her about the one face on the plane that isn't smiling, and she told me that it was her and she was scared to fly.

Wordless Wednesday
From now on, I will be doing a "Wordless Wednesday". I've seen other photographers doing this. One, being Rachel Lauren http://rachellaurenphotography.blogspot.com/, who is a dog photographer in Ohio. Check out her blog!

Funny Girl
Adalie ~"Do I look funny?!"
Me~ "Yes, sweetheart. You look funny.
Adalie ~ "Take my picture..."
Me ~ "Ofcourse!"
Maybe it's because she's used to me always taking her pictures, but I never have to ask her to pose. She just knows what to do! <3

Do Princesses Scrape Their Knees?
Today, Addy and I made puppets and Adalie put on a "puppen" show for me. Later, she served me tea and cake. It was as delicious as a plastic cake can be. She loved the fact that I was poparazzi and when I was done she asked me to take more pictures of her tea party. Go figure! Princess indeed.

New Year and 363 project?
Happy 2011!! Time goes by way too fast for me. I'm starting to feel old. And that's not cool. Soon...very soon...I'll be too old to say cool. Or "cool" will become the new "swell". Wait, I think it has already. For alittle while I was hearnig kids say, "Thats sick" and I wondered if that was a good thing...or a bad thing. In my day saying something was sick meant it was totally disgusting. I've learned that saying something is sick is a good thing. I guess it's along the same lines as saying something's "bad"...as in really awesome! OK, I'm rambling and starting to show my age now. Moving on!!
I thought I'd post some out take photos I got while trying really hard to get photos of my daughters. I think I have an easier time getting pics of other people's kids than my own. My kids could care less if they are getting on my last nerve. They seem to enjoy it. Maybe they even think it's sick...in the good way.
It was New Year's Eve and since the girls are still too young to drink, I decided to take them to Fort Macon for the day.I thought my oldest daughter would enjoy the history and I could sneek some photos in. And by sneeking I mean force them to pose for me until I get the right shot a few times over. Which, is probably, the reason they hate having their pictures taken. They do everything they can to make it difficult for me.
I also took them to the beach, since it was such a warm day out. Unfortunately, we didn't get to stay as long as we had wanted. The sun was going down and it was getting alittle chilly out.
My resolutions for this year will be...blog more...take more photos...concentrate more on my business...learn to knit and or sew...learn new PS skills...create more in general!! ...(with the exception of creating people.)
Happy New Year!! Let's hope the Mayans were wrong!!

It's a good thing I'm so determined to get good pictures of the girls. Lord knows it's not that I'm patient.

I've wanted to do a 365 project for a couple of years now, but for some reason or another, something happens and I never end up doing one. If you dont know what that is, it's where you take one photo, everyday of the year. I'm already two photos behind. So, I will just call it my 363 Project...So here goes, my first photo of 2011.
