New Year and 363 project?

Happy 2011!! Time goes by way too fast for me. I'm starting to feel old. And that's not cool. Soon...very soon...I'll be too old to say cool. Or "cool" will become the new "swell". Wait, I think it has already. For alittle while I was hearnig kids say, "Thats sick" and I wondered if that was a good thing...or a bad thing. In my day saying something was sick meant it was totally disgusting. I've learned that saying something is sick is a good thing. I guess it's along the same lines as saying something's "bad"...as in really awesome! OK, I'm rambling and starting to show my age now. Moving on!!

I thought I'd post some out take photos I got while trying really hard to get photos of my daughters. I think I have an easier time getting pics of other people's kids than my own. My kids could care less if they are getting on my last nerve. They seem to enjoy it. Maybe they even think it's sick...in the good way.

It was New Year's Eve and since the girls are still too young to drink, I decided to take them to Fort Macon for the day.I thought my oldest daughter would enjoy the history and I could sneek some photos in. And by sneeking I mean force them to pose for me until I get the right shot a few times over. Which, is probably, the reason they hate having their pictures taken. They do everything they can to make it difficult for me.
It's a good thing I'm so determined to get good pictures of the girls. Lord knows it's not that I'm patient.

I also took them to the beach, since it was such a warm day out. Unfortunately, we didn't get to stay as long as we had wanted. The sun was going down and it was getting alittle chilly out.
I've wanted to do a 365 project for a couple of years now, but for some reason or another, something happens and I never end up doing one. If you dont know what that is, it's where you take one photo, everyday of the year. I'm already two photos behind. So, I will just call it my 363 Project...So here goes, my first photo of 2011.

My resolutions for this year will be...blog more...take more photos...concentrate more on my business...learn to knit and or sew...learn new PS skills...create more in general!! ...(with the exception of creating people.)

Happy New Year!! Let's hope the Mayans were wrong!!
